We understand you may have concerns introducing an allergen into your baby’s diet if you have an older child who is allergic to that allergen. There are still safe ways to introduce allergens, for example introducing the allergen when the older child is at daycare or school or doing an activity at home where they will not be near the allergen. Cleaning the area afterwards and washing the dishes/utensils in hot water should remove any potential allergens from exposure to the older child.  Talk to your allergist about safe ways to get the allergens in.
